PLANNING & TIPS
WHEN TO SCHEDULE
Please contact us early in your pregnancy so we can hold you a spot for your maternity and newborn sessions. We recommend about 7-8 months for your maternity session but everyone feels and grows differently – make sure you are comfortable! Once your baby arrives, email or call from the hospital or shortly after you arrive home so we can schedule a time in the studio within the first 2 weeks. Sessions are best when baby is just 5-10 days new!
WHAT TO BRING
We love the simplicity of a white fabric wrap or a black tube top with yoga pants to highlight your belly. For newborns, most shots will be in their birthday suits. Older babies look cute in just about anything but keep the outfits simple trying to avoid any text on the outfits. Layered looks, organic textures and accessories like hats are perfect! Don’t worry if you don’t think you have the right stuff you are welcome to choose from our selection.
Shortly after your session (sometimes as soon as a few days!) your preview images will be available to view online in a secure, password protected gallery. A proof magazine is also available for $40 if requested. As soon as the images are posted online you are able to order prints and products! Simply give us a call to set up an ordering session or to give your order over the phone.

- Scheduled to last up to 3 hours to allow plenty of time for diaper changes, feedings, and fussy, camera shy babies.
