I hope you're right about the quality of our work being more like Chanel! I know the TJ Maxx comparison isn't perfect but in ways it works to help us think about where we want to be. I think part of the reason I wouldn't compare us to a super high end store is because we don't want to have that type of "air" about us. We like being comfortable, approachable and friendly without seeming stuck-up or having crazy prices just because of the name. Not that every high-end store is like that but you probably get my point. Basically I think we want to offer the quality of Chanel without the bells, whistles and high prices of their retail boutiques. I guess if you could pick up some Chanel at a TJ Maxx rather than at a Chanel Boutique then that would be us! Althea, thank you too for the kind words. I don't think TJ Maxx is a good analogy because you two are like Chanel in my opinion! You made Kyle and I very comfortable and excited not only to do our engagement and wedding photos, but also to get married. Seeing how You guys worked together as a team was incredibly inspiring. And the photos we have are beyond anything we expected. While the services were more than what we wanted to spend, it was well worth every cent! You didn't have the unlimited budget for your wedding that some do (you may have even paid for a lot of it yourself if I remember correctly) but you valued the photography enough to hire us even though there were cheaper options. You're the ones we don't want to push away or out price. But at the same time we want to put our full effort into every shoot for every client, keep upgrading equipment and products, and offer the best service possible. Sometimes it feels like something has to give because we want to do it all for everyone!
