Erin and Zach – State College Wedding Photography

Erin and Zach got married this past weekend at St Mark’s church right in our back yard in Pleasant Gap.  Literally, you can see the church from our backyard :)  We started out down the road in Zion at Erin’s family home, a beautiful victorian house with loads of charm and beautiful gardens.  A quick stop to meet up with Zach and the guys at the Best Western and we were off to Tallyrand Park for some pre-ceremony photos with the bridal party and family.

After a beautiful wedding ceremony, complete with a special part just for the kids, we headed to Tussey mountain where we grabbed a few more photos with the whole wedding party and proceeded to the reception.

We had a great time with Erin and Zach, they are such a sweet couple and it was a pleasure getting to know and spend this time with them.  We wish them all the best and hope they love the photos!

Ashley and Nick – State College Wedding Photography

Ashley and Nick had an absolutely beautiful spring day for their wedding.  The ceremony was in downtown State College at Faith United Church of Christ and the Reception was at Tussey Mountain Lodge.  They had a really fun and enthusiastic wedding party and very friendly and helpful families.  From start to finish everything went just about as perfect as you could ever ask for a wedding.  Beautiful day, beautiful couple, beautiful pictures!

Best of luck Nick and Ashley, thanks for the fun day!!!

Stacy and Aaron’s wedding – Tussey Mountain

We had just met Stacy for the first time about 2 weeks ago when she finally got into PA. Her and Aaron are originally from the area but are currently living in California and had not been able to meet with us or do the engagement session prior to their wedding. Aaron, we realized as soon as we saw him, had been a groomsmen in a wedding we did last summer so he knew what to expect. But beside that bit of familiarity with Aaron we were a little unsure of how the two would do in front of the camera. Well, despite the high heat and the brutal sun and our just recently meeting the couple they did amazing and the photos turned out fantastic. We started with the bride getting ready at her sister’s house and then met up with the guys at Curtain Village to do the bridal party photos. From there it was off to Tussey Mountain for the ceremony and the reception.

Looking back it was a tough day with the heat and sun but everybody did amazing – no complaints from the bridal party at all! We are very proud of the photos we got and hope that Stacy and Aaron will enjoy them for years to come.
