WHY WEDDINGS?

After 10 years and more than 200 weddings, what keeps us coming back for more? What motivates us, inspires us, and makes us love what we do?

Why do we still love photographing weddings?

This is why…

Watching the mother of the bride dress up her baby girl one last time.

The quiet prayer for the bride with best friends and family huddled around her.

That tender moment between the bride and her father just before he walks her down the aisle – getting to hold her just a little while longer before he gives her away.

Capturing the groom as he chokes up seeing his beautiful bride for the first time and realizing that she chose him.

Seeing the sincerity and reverence in the bride’s face as she listens to a strong and loving man tell her that he will love, honor, and cherish her for the rest of his life.

The bridal party having fun and doing whatever it takes to give the bride and groom the perfect day… even if it rains.

A groom who isn’t afraid to show how madly in love he is.

The mother of the groom fighting the tears as she holds her son during a slow dance.

As we approach our 10 year wedding anniversary, we feel continually blessed to be able to so frequently witness these beautiful moments – the beginning of a couple’s new life together. In many ways we get to relive memories of our own wedding, reminders of our own beginning; to love, honor, and cherish each other. Plus, we get to meet and work with some fun and amazing people (like you!), creating memories of the start of your story, for your family to cherish for generations.
